To the humble April 10th fan who posted the follow up reply on April 13th, I think you may not be giving yourself enough credit. I wrote a lot of stuff before I ever put anything up on the web. Like anything, writing gets easier in some ways, and develops greater depth and complexity too, with practice. I do think you show the basic talent necessary to become a good writer, and I'd love to see what you can come up with based on your story idea, or any other ideas you may have. I suggest getting some books from your local library on the Spanish Inquisition, or torture or the slave trade (yes, there are very graphic books on these topics and they are sometimes available at your local library! Also, watch some of the extreme videos, like some of the Cole torture loops available from this site, or any similar videos you may find for more ideas and inspiration. I wouldn't recommend reading other writers for ideas because often that can just stifle your own creativity and imagination. As for the story 'Cindy's Nightmare', that is a multipart story I wrote way back when I first started writing for Straythoughts.com. It is actually a multi-parter, like 'Framed by the Law', but not as fully developed as I would like it to be and it currently lacks any kind of ending. I've been planning on revising it and maybe turning it into a shorter story instead of a multipart story. The Webmaster has held off posting it while I decided what I want to do with it. Stray Thoughts is undergoing some behind-the-scenes changes and a big part of that change is that Stray Thoughts is going to be splitting into two separate sites, a video site and a pics and stories site. Since the site is going to be going thru such a major change, it's been decided that it doesn't really make sense to keep adding costly pic galleries to this site when they're only going to be getting removed anyway once we switch them to the new site. We keep adding stories because there's not a whole lot of cost involved there, and we do want to keep the site growing to some extent to give visitors something new to see when they come here. Anyway, we're looking to have this new site opened up by the beginning of the new year (keeping our fingers crossed!), but we'll have to see. If things keep going good like they have been there should be no problem meeting that deadline, but who knows what the future brings. Regarding the 'stealing' comment, that was my mistake (left on the page from your last story), and I more or less just forgot to delete it when I pasted your new story on the page. I'll get that off of there (sometime!), but one last time thanks again! And before I forget, a quick comment to the visitor who posted on 9/1/01 about 'Cheerleader' - your request was noted and thanks for being patient. I actually did start formatting that story a while back, but I just haven't had a lot of time for the stories lately as video orders have been pretty good. I can say that I should be getting the 1st chapter up fairly quickly, but the story is huge (much bigger than the other 2 Anon stories), so it will probably take me a while to finish, just so you know.
