CBR66 - SAN  FRANCISCO  BALL:  While only a softcore film (no actual penetration shown), Ball is still of the rougher flicks made by the demented geniuses at Avon.  The offbeat plot for this movie revolves around a slacking threesome of mean-spirited thugs who, after scheming up some brainstorm on how to get a quick payday, kidnap an innocent woman and hold her hostage for a $50,000 ransom (hey, c'mon--this was filmed back in the 70's!).  Their plan starts to unravel, though, when the impatient kidnappers decide to release their pent-up frustrations by using their hostage as a gangbang toy--oh, what sweet catharsis!  However, when the victim's well-meaning friend accidentally gets herself mixed-up in the whole mess, she escalates the situation until the hostile duo left watching the woman--now caught up in a frenzy of violent lust--go on a bloody rampage and begin brutally assaulting the two women both physically and sexually, ending up with their ransom hostage literally being banged to death!  And while any other average run-of-the-mill kidnappers would hang their hats up right there, these bad-ass bozos still think they deserve to get the ransom payment even though they killed their hostage--so off they go to try and kidnap her sister as their new hostage!  As you might guess things end up badly for almost everyone involved, including the kidnappers, too.  Again, due to the violence of the one 'frenzy' scene, the sex scenes are softcore (simulated).  San Francisco Ball is definitely a title that stands out among the genre.  Quality is a little grainy, but for the most part pretty fair--in English.  ASQ rating:  A2b

CBR67 - SEX  WISH:  Roughie classic starring Harry Reems as a distraught husband out to avenge the rape and brutal murder of his wife when she falls victim to a psychotic serial killer on the loose in the city. As he walks the streets searching for clues that will lead to his wife's murderer, the killer (played to creepy perfection by Zebedy Colt), continues on his hunt for women to victimize, but as his bizarre motives begin to surface more women fall prey to his sadistic nature even as the vengeful husband closes in on him. Also features genre star CJ Laing as the murdered wife, Nancy Dare and a cameo by sexy Terri Hall as another of the killer's victims in one of the film's rougher scenes. ASQ rating: B1c

CBR68 - SLAVE  OF  PLEASURE:  From '78 comes this rare Gillis genre film about a cheating but distraught husband who, after hearing of his lover's plans to make his wife "disappear", hires a private eye to track down the missing woman. After following up some leads, the PI learns of an underground, internationally connected white slavery ring working the city that kidnaps ordinary housewives, drugs them and then sells them off as sex slaves to wealthy overseas buyers; informing the husband of what he's discovered, the two race off to try and save the wife before she's gone for good. Realizing her drastic mistake, the husband's lover--who also happens to be the wife's best friend!--goes to the people responsible for abducting the woman and admits she made a mistake and that they need to release her friend, all to no avail--aware that they've been exposed because of a jealous lover's stupid indiscretion, they keep the woman so she can suffer the same fate as her best friend, but not before she's taught a vicious lesson about what happens to double-crossers. Will the husband reach his wife in time before she becomes another yet victim of the slavers?! Features Jaime Gillis as the slave ring's international heavy, and CJ Laing as the spiteful best friend who gets hers in the end. Quality is a little grainy, and there are some quick glitches in the early part of the film. ASQ rating: A1c

Featuring a simple plot but loaded with lots of hot action, SLAVERS is about a small-time underground slavery ring who abducts unsuspecting women and then brings them back to their hideout for some hard slave training before the unlucky women are then sold off as sex slaves to wealthy owners. The head of the ring, a ruthless and sadistic bitch, gets in on the fun too, adding a little girl/girl action to the film. Rare! Stars genre fave George Payne in one of his earlier roles here as one of the abductors/trainers. A real must for fans of the genre!  ASQ rating: A1b

Hardcore action, bondage, whipping, electro-torture--this is wicked stuff, people, so order only if your conscience is on a long vacation! CBR76 - SUCCULENT:  Going all the way back to '83 with this long-lost classic (not a true roughie), you'll be hard-pressed to find a better flick anywhere!  Pretty women stopped for traffic violations are framed by crooked cops, so they can be brought in for a little more "intensive" questioning.  However, once inside the jailhouse, the unsuspecting women soon learn they'll be needing a whole lot more than just a phone call!  Stripped of their dignity--and clothes!--the women are forced to please their captors sexually, including a stern and kinky female guard (played by super-sexy Rhonda Jo Petty!).  And more surprises are still in store for the two unfortunate women as they horrifyingly learn not only is the judge behind their false arrests but that he had them 'arrested' so they could be sold as sex slaves to a Middle East Arab sheik (played by Ron Jeremy!).  Includes an awesome climax--no pun intended--where the women are brought before Sheik Adnan El Jer'emy so that he can 'inspect' his new merchandise and sample their goods--meaning a throat-plugging blowjob and sticky facial for one of the women (played by cult fave Little Oral Annie!), as she's made to deep-throat his royal shaft!  Super-hot XXX action, also starring R. Bolla as the conniving judge and George Payne (The Taming Of Rebecca), and Jerry Butler as two of the crooked cops.  Definitely two thumbs up for this ST favorite, so you know this puppy has to be a good one!  Good quality and sound; includes a bonus 'feature' after.  ASQ rating:  A1b

CBR81 - TAMING  OF  REBECCA,  THE:  Probably considered Avon's crowning achievement in the genre, Rebecca tells the story of a young woman who, after being molested by her father, runs away from home and is placed in a shelter where she can sort out her troubles. However, the once proper "school", now run by strict Dean Minidao and his buxom female assistant, has since become nothing more than a playground for the cruel headmaster to exercise control and discipline--and his wicked sexual fantasies--over his female subjects, which he does with sadistic glee; bringing the helpless women down to his secret hideout known as 'The Cave', he makes them scream and beg--until Rebecca finds out about the Dean's hidden little lair, that is! CBR83 - TOP  SECRET:  SUPER-RARE BONDAGE CLASSIC!  Starring Latin sensation Vanessa Del Rio in one of her few 'fetish' film appearances, Secret is most likely one of the most sought-after bondage flicks ever.  Del Rio portrays Juanita, a woman hired by a secret group to infiltrate a criminal organization in order to steal a file containing evidence of corruption.  The organization's leader, a kinky mob boss-type, is into dominating and disciplining women, so in order to 'penetrate' his group Juanita is forced to pose as a woman seeking bondage and slave training.  Blindfolded and gagged, Juanita is led into the boss's secret chamber, but her first meeting is anything but what she expected; stripped down naked Juanita is strung from the ceiling and whipped by one of the boss's henchmen.  Unable to leave until she has the file, Juanita is made to take more punishment and training as days pass by.  Then something begins to happen--with each new humiliating 'training' session, Juanita begins to find that she really likes what's being done to her and that being dominated and disciplined is exciting her; as her feisty spirit is broken, Juanita begins to realize that maybe she was meant to be a submissive.  Unable to steal the file that will give her employers the evidence needed to arrest her new 'master', Juanita decides to double-cross the people who hired her and become an owned slave of the organization!  Very hot stuff--a must for all Vanessa and bondage fans!  Includes a bunch of bondage trailers after.  Fair to good quality (a little washed), but there are a couple of quick glitches at the start of the film.  Recommended as a VHS purchase (DVD-r transfer seems to be a bit more washed/faded).  ASQ rating:  A2b

CBR89 - UNWILLING  LOVERS:  Another Zebedy Colt RARE classic starring the Z-man as a fully grown but mentally challenged man named Timmy who finally uncorks and goes on a rape and killing spree after spying the new "nanny"--a buxom and highly-sexed redhead--hired by his domineering mother to watch over him get it on with the local handyman. Conflicted and confused by what's he's witnessed, the bumbling man-child seeks to copy what he sees when, while in the woods, he accidentally comes across a picnicking couple making love in the forest. Timmy moves in on the woman (Terri Hall), when the man leaves to retrieve a blanket, but when the surprised girl is frightened by his bizarre and childish behavior she begins to protest and he accidentally kills her when her head strikes a rock on the ground during the struggle. Pleased with the girl's silence, he strips down and begins to copy the acts he had witnessed between his new "nanny" and the handyman, but runs off into the woods when he hears the man coming back to the clearing. Not satisfied by the experience, Timmy keeps spying on couples in the woods and attacking the women, until he's dubbed "The Candybar Killer" by police for his unwitting habit of leaving his candy wrappers behind at the scene of the crime. Things come to a head when Timmy attacks the housekeeper, but quickly realizes the source of his problems is none other than his own mother and he heads off to take care of the situation. Also features cameos by Annie Sprinkle and CJ Laing. Quality is uneven (picture flickers at screen top occasionally), and the sound is a little low, but still very watchable--due to the lower grade of the tape quality, though, VHS is recommended over DVD-r.  ASQ rating: B1c

CBR90 - WATERPOWER:  (aka The Enema Bandit; The Enema Killer) ULTRA-RARE!!! Super-classic roughie from 1975, starring Jaime Gillis as a confused young man whose mental imbalances cause him to go on a rampage terrorizing women he deems as "unclean" and then purifying them by way of forced enemas--after forcing himself on them first! A delusional and unbalanced dreamer with voyeuristic tendencies, his rape spree is set off by the pretty neighbor woman--his imagined girlfriend--when he sees her bring home another man for casual sex, after which he decides to punish her and all women like her when he finds inspiration in a live sex act and fetish show. As the number of his victims begins to mount, police are baffled by the bizarre motives of the rapist terrorizing the city and they decide to use a female undercover officer (CJ Laing), to try and lure the madman into a trap--with disastrous results for the undercover officer! Dir/ by Gerard Damiano (The Story Of Joanna), and also starring Sharon Mitchell, Gloria Leonard, Marlene Willoughby and Eric Edwards. Quality is sub-par, but still offered due to the extreme rarity of the film. ASQ rating: A1c
